Thermocouple Cables are used to transmit signals from the thermocouple to the control unit using conductor materials which have the same e.m.f. output as that of the thermocouple unit. In Thermocouple Extension Cables the conductor metal/alloys are the same as that of the thermocouple leads.
Thermocouple Compensating Cables which are cheaper alternative to Thermocouple Extension Cables are available at competitive prices. These Cables incorporate different alloys which give the same e.m.f. output (within a limited temperature range) as Thermocouple Extension Cables.
These Cables meet IS:8784, ANSI MC:96.1 Standards and are used in steel, cement and glass factories. They are also available with a special fibre glass coating for greater uniformity in performance.
